We’ve made some improvements to the way you enter and manage labels when you start a new job. That means, faster setup, fewer mistakes, and better control over what gets imaged.

What’s new:

• Plates are now toggled OFF by default to ensure you only image and analyse the plates you actually intend to.

• Labels now appear and can be edited when a plate is toggled ON and you hover the plate — no more double-clicking (which used to make the plate turn orange). Please note that adding labels is optional.

Other notable updates:

• You can enter sample IDs manually, or scan barcodes to autofill plate labels.

  👉 To scan barcodes, just hit the Scan icon in the top right, and start scanning away. You can highlight a plate to be scanned using the arrows on your keyboard.

• You can also populate labels via the Reshape API for a fully automated setup.
